Nineteen
I got 19 scrapbook pages done today (without journaling). I think it took six hours. With four pictures per page and 730 pictures, that’s…uh…182 pages and about 60 hours. I’d better get some more glue. Here are some pictures, just so you can see what I’m doing. (Gee, more pictures of pictures. I’m getting redundant.)
Also, I’d like to publicly say that I’ve got the best husband everywhere. Not only is he okay with the fact that I’ve turned the dining room into a scrapbooking nightmare, he also brought pizza home for supper and told me I was beautiful, even though I got caught in the rain today during a walk and am a fuzz-head with no makeup wearing very icky, unflattering clothes. I like to read about Darcy, but honestly, I’ve got it so much better!

Nineteen pages?! Now that is impressive!!! It takes me at least an hour per page -hehe. You can imagine our basement is a total mess and I don’t get too much done…but it is fun. Perhaps I have a tendency to layer everything and over-stamp and sticker so it takes a while. Hmm.
But beautiful pages!
I love that type of husband. I have one too.
He gets all sappy looking at me and says, “you’re preserving memories. It’s important.”
Sweet! My hubby cooked dinner today. So that’s what scrapbook pages look like! Pretty nifty.
Those scrapbook pages are beautiful!
You got a extra husband I can have??? lol Geez I suck at scrapebook.. I did try but it come out ”ok-ok-ok”…
Wow! You were BUSY! Your husband sounds like a keeper.
Wish I were motivated to do that! Sounds like a very fun day.
Hesitate to ask how the book goes. The cross-stitch isn’t faring too well lately.
Have a great day!
Lovely and fun work! Good job!
Don’t you have anything else in your life to do that you have time to make 19 scrapbook pages???? Gee, I stare at my scrapbooking stuff & shoeboxes full of pics longing for the time to do it! Go, girl!
I didn’t know you were a scrapper! I have seen some of the other xangans scrap work and it amazes me how nice they are!
I didin’t get to start Harry Potter yesterday like I wanted. Life just keeps coming at me! hahaha
Sounds like you’ve got a big project to keep you busy for a while.
Like you, I love it when my husband comes in with the pizza…and no complaints about how little got done during the day, or what a mess the house is!
I must agree with J-fam. It’s always wonderful when your hubby comes home with food and does not even bother to mention the fact that no laundry was done, no dishes washed, no dinner made, and the house is in a messier stated than when he left for work. Ah, praise the Lord for great husbands!!!
P.S. Love the first of the scrapbook pages. Maybe by the time we visit State College agian, you book will be completed!
Sounds beautiful! I’m trying to scan about 15 years worth of slides that belonged to my grandparents. I have them all on neat, and not so neat, little stacks on my desk.
This is, far and away, my favorite of all your Xanga posts!!
Awwww. Hey, let me know next time you’re scrapbooking! I have eight years of SFEA Drama to catch up on
That’s a lot of scrapbooking! I love the cut out flowers!

Grace and peace to all husbands who support their wives’ scrapbooking habits.
I’ve been out of the Xanga loop for awhile now, but it was great getting caught up on your trip. Your scrapbook pages look wonderful.
RYC on I was there and back again’s site. I can’t believe you got to scrapbook today! I had to put all of my scrapbook supplies away this week to receive wedding guests (all my stuff is in the guest bedroom). Of course, as soon as I put everything away, I had a hankerin’ to scrapbook! T
Thank you for your kind comments. Er, no, there were no Sandcastler posts while you were away. Quartus got married, and I baked many, many cakes for the reception. New Daughter in Law had a friend coming to decorate the wedding cake, but didn’t have time off to bake the layers. I bought the special pans and froze as I baked. I’d pictured myself baking in odd moments through the summer but didn’t get to it until two weeks before the wedding. That and Spelling Camp have kept me occupied. I also volunteered to do the flowers for Quartus’ wedding, and therein lies a tale, but I’m waiting until I get some other stuff written.
Be careful what you wish for. I wanted to read Harry Potter but for a couple of days I was too busy. On Friday I don’t know what I did but my back has gone crazy! I cannnot even stand for more than a couple of minutes. As long as I am very still, it doesn’t hurt. So, I laid in bed all day yesterday and read Harry Potter!
