I don’t really feel like writing this entry.
Why waste my time and yours, then? Well, if I get out of the habit of blogging (as I did the past two days and past…um…six months, then I might never return. (Stop saying, “Oh, good.” Meanie.)
We got the drums and microphone for Guitar Hero today. I got them used on Ebay, so I am hoping they hold up. I’m kind of keen to try them out myself. I am not so terrible at the guitar part of the game for an old woman. However, tonight I think I might just curl up and watch the rest of Lost in Austen, a British TV show which I have on DVD–300 minutes of campy fun.
I’ve been a painting fool lately. However, it’s taking much longer than I anticipated to wash down all the spindles and banisters of the porch. And then I will prime it. And paint it. (I hope I only have to do one coat!)
I’d like to eat a vegetable right now. I’m thinking raw carrots. And then ice cream.

Do you recommend the DVD? I’m watching The Buccaneers now….kinda smutty in many regards. I’m hoping it redeems itself in the end. I really like the BBC Elizabeth Gaskell DVDs, though……and, I’m always looking for more!
I too have become a painting fool or just a fool. I’m about to embark on the daunty task of painting our living room, all four 18ft walls. Let’s hope the $54 scaffolding rental doesn’t end up costing $5000 in medical bills!
Please don’t stop blogging, and I won’t either! Raw carotts followed by icecream? Is that sarcasm?
I would miss you if you stopped blogging, but I know what you mean….sometimes it’s just hard to KEEP blogging! My brother said he really enjoyed Lost in Austen. I haven’t seen it yet. Enjoy your carrots and ice cream! I had fresh cherries this morning, then some raisen bran. Yum!
If you need inspiration for you blogging….just start telling us stories from your days in London.

I painted some yesterday….and then made a wonderful discovery…the person who owned the house before me left a can of the deck stain in the garage. Yippee. I can delegate that to my son.
Guitar Hero…I’ve never played it. The kids are currently loving Mario Kart on the wii. I also choose Yoshi.

I think I know what you mean; I, too, am running out of steam. Teachers go back to work on Monday and the students return shortly thereafter. I don’t know if I will continue to make time in the monring for posting but I’m afraid if I quit, then I won’t do any morning Bible time at all.
I am suffering a bad case of malcontentedness; nothing major……….just lots of little minor irritants.

I’m glad you wrote the entry. I enjoy reading back through to see what I’ve missed. I have been denying myself blogs until I finish my coursework. It isn’t happening very fast.
