  • That Recommendation…

I guess I didn’t realize the title of the entry when I recommended it. However, I think the writer makes some great points about homeschooling and public schooling.  Maybe you’ll just think the title was my April Fool’s joke to you. Maybe?

I am annoyed. My cat smells like cat pee. My back porch smells like cat pee. The whole world is beginning to smell like cat pee. I should just make some cookies.

  • Air out the kitchen first, lest your hard-earned cookies also smell like cat pee.

  • I can’t find anything that you’ve recommended in the past 24hrs.

Sorry about the cat. Cat pee is one of the worst smells on earth…right up there with chitlins and doggy anal glands when they’re impacted.

  • @sonnetjoy - Oh, goodness. Good advice!

Ah, I thought I had clicked on the recommendation for an entry which was called “Homeschooling Sucks.” I didn’t realize the crude title.

  • @TeacherPerson - Ah. No bigee. And I’m so desensitized to that word that I wouldn’t have been offended. Thanks for solving that mystery, though!

  • Yeah, I was intrigued enough to go read it.  I had three people rec it!  It was very good, though I have to wonder why she chose that title.  I mean, why not “Public School Sucks?”  Or just plain “School Sucks”– after all, she’s trying to be fair, right?

Obviously I’ve become desensitized, too.  I used to shudder in horror at that word.  Sigh.

  • Urg, if you can figure out a way to prevent that smell from happening, let me know! Our outdoor kitty is fixed, but that still doesn’t prevent the territorial thing from the neighbor cats! At our back door where the food is!

  • Time to chop the cat’s willy me thinks.

He is neutered and has been for six years. It’s just in the past few months that he got busy. I believe it is because he is really irritated that we got a new kitten.

  • I also wonder what recommendation you are referring to.  I hope your cat will behave better once he? is neutered.  We had a female that would do that.  We kept her outside and even there, if any child left a coat or something out, it would get the treatment.  Once we put up a new tent in the backyard, and it also got the treatment.  I never did smell right.
