Overheard
An infomercial was on TV, prompting TGD and Gockle to have this exchange.
TGD: (said in a dead-serious tone) I often slice pineapples in mid-air. That would be useful.
Gockle: Did you know Obama made an infomercial? What could anyone say about Obama for 30 minutes?

I can do one better than that. I am on Dish Network and there was an entire CHANNEL called the Obama Channel. It played continually up until the election. It is off now, THANK GOODNESS.
I would have plenty to say- and my show would require a “To Be Continued” line at the end!! LOL.
Their conversation is cute.
Pineapples in mid-air………………..I cannot quite get my head around that one.
Sounds like extreme fruiting!
LOL!!! Having three brothers, random convos like this occur quite often — guys are hilarious!
LOL!
*whips out DOLE pineapple knife*
That *would* be quite useful…I’ll have to see if I can get one of those for all of the pineapples that we slice!
Being able to slice pineapples in the air—priceless
Thanks for the smile. As always, you bring joy to my day
I love families! I love reading about them, and I love mine. It’s like we live private sitcoms. Brothers are awesome (and sons, I’m sure, though I wouldn’t know personally yet
)
Pineapples? Is this an Eastcoast thing, because here we use our ginso knifes on oranges ok? Just kidding I have no idea what any of it means, but how are you? Long time no blog.
ryc- No those are more Northern Ca, we are in Southern Ca south of LA.
HOw are you and how coem you never blog anymore?!
ryc- yeah, we have that problem too. I never blog for more than 2-5 min. at a time unless it is after 11pm or before 6am or on a Sunday mroning when hubby is at work and kids are watching cartoons. It can sometimes take me an entire day to type one post! I’ll start it at 6am, leave the computer on and then type a few min several times through out the day. Hubby gets very annoyed if I seem to be blogging or even doing personal emails. I really keep it to a minimum during working hours.
