It was fabulous. And I only had to wait until late August for my first ripe tomato. Next year, those plants go in the ground earlier!
That’s an awesome picture – Mrs. Photography over there. We just got our first ripe tomato yesterday and alas, it was rotten on the bottom. We still have gobs of green ones in the garden. We were late also.
Nice! We just made dinner tonight with half a dozen garden fresh tomatoes. Yum!! Hope that you enjoyed yours as much as we did ours. (Ours, of course, was grown at my in laws’ garden…we’re still waiting for a yard to grow our own plants in!)
The photo is a play on the cover art of the novel, Twilight, which is the first book in a popular series. The Cullens are the names of the family in the book.
I see! an apple instead of a tomatoe. I have been reading more and more about the series and also you told me about it but I get my books at second hand stores and garage sales so haven’t found any yet….thanks
Nice
I love you. I am such a rebellious butt head and you soften me and give me perspective. I do not deserve friends like you and thankful mama. You guys are just so much nicer than I am. Thank you for your calming words, and reminder to set a good example. Well, ok I already blew that, but maybe next time?

Good things come to those who wait.
I worked at a greenhouse one summer, we grew tons of tomatoes (maybe not actually TONS, ha ha).
That is a fabulous picture! Quite Arty!
Our tomatos are almost over. Just as well because my husband, literally, eats himself sick of them. Then wonders why his stomach is upset. Go figure!
