It was . . . Rein and I went to the Dairy Farm, and I had a delicious cup of coffee along with mini-cinnamon rolls, while he ate a grilled turkey and swiss sandwich, a side salad, and a vanilla milkshake. We visited for an hour or so, then sampled cheese. We then settled on some nice sweet swiss, calico, and hicory smoked gouda to bring home. Mmmmmm. But I think I want some dill pickle chips, so dear hubby is going to fetch some of those before he comes home for the evening. Isn’t it all so romantic???
Hey! Are you on Facebook? I bet you’d make a mean Scrabulous competitor! Sweet hubby.
Sounds great! Glad that you got a nice treat.
I love Skittles!
ryc: Thanks for listening to my band. I’m not friends with Billy Joel’s daughter, but I did almost meet her once (does that count for anything? ha ha). I’m not exactly sure why she’s in our top friends list, either.
NICE!!!! I especially like the candy and sudocu!! lol I’m very proud of my sudoku score!! I did one in something like 1 min. and 55 seconds…..it was on an easy level, but nonetheless, I was happy!! lol
Aww, that is soo sweet.. I also got stuff animal from my boys as I post in my blog as well.. Happy Valentine’s Day
Happy Valentine’s Day to you, too! Have some no-calorie chocolate! :=)
ah, how sweet.
Awwwwww….you are so blessed.
Glad your hubby made your day special!
Happy Valentine’s Day
I love skittles and twix candy/chocolate
Happy Valentine’s Day! That card is funny! I got breakfast out with dh at Cracker Barrel, 2 cards ( one “sings”) and a bread knife.
That’s gross that purples taste different! I still remember when they had the flavor of green apple instead of lime for one summer. It threw off the delicate balance of taste.
I love suduko!
Poor old Donny about forgot Valentine’s Day. I had a little gift for him and put it on the counter where he usually sits in the morning. He showed up in my classroom about 30 minutes after I got there with a basket of candy. I know he forgot and ran out to find something after he found his gift from me. His mother has been diagnosed with lung cancer and he isn’t himself right now.
It sounds like you had a great Valentine’s day. I did too. I received some wonderful chocolates, which I am munching on now. And beautiful roses in a gorgeous vase. As I’m sure you can tell, I was pleased And one of the best things ever was that my brother in law came out of his coma!!! This was a wonderful blessing!
Snazzy gifts! Sudoku and Candy-my kind of guy. Love the card, so cute! The flowers are beautiful. What did you do for him (that you can talk about on xanga) for his Valentines gift?
Wow, what perfect Valentine’s gifts!! Sounds like you had a great one.
Such sweet gifts! I’m guessing the tie and suduko’s are for TGD. I rememebr when we lived with you for a month (thanks again for that), and I was addicted to sudukos; TDG said he doens’t solve trivial puzzles, he saves his energy for real math. I hope we were not the reason for this new found love of sudukos.
I can just imagine you looking into your husband’s eyes on Valentine’s Day morning and thinking, “Chocolate!! He’s getting me CHOCOLATE!!!”
Beautiful roses!! (long sniff!!) mmmm! I can almost smell them!
Glad you had a fun day! What’s up for the weekend? How’s the weather there?
Hey all,
I like the blog, you DO have a good husband!
Thanks again for a wonderful evening! We really enjoyed spending the evening with you all, great food, inspiring music, a learning experience with cards, and what could be better?
A big thanks to your children for watching our too~
We appreciate you guys,
Lisa (for Jim too)
Simple & Sweet I love Twix!
How extremely romantical! After what I’ve been writing, Mr. M. was extremely attentive this Valentine’s day. I really wasn’t fishing, but I got chocolates, steak dinner that he didn’t have time to cook, and a handmade card, and something else I’d like to post on protected. (It’s G rated, just unusual.)

That’s not a card. It’s the wrapper on a large chocolate bar!
@TeacherPerson -
Ooooh… even better!
