Grand Theft Xanga
I am going to steal an excellent idea from AimeeAnne. Instead of doing one of those survey thingies, I turn to you, dear readers, to ask me the questions which I shall answer in my next post. Ask me whatever you’d like–silly or serious.
I was going to post some pictures from the inside of our England house, but they removed the listing, and hence, the pictures. It mostly looks like a rental house with mis-matched furniture. But, how wonderful it will be to me! (Did I mention this rental comes with four free hours of housecleaning each week? And a washer, dryer, and dishwasher? And cable and a DVD player? And a piano? Spoiled, spoiled me.)

I did this question thing once and I got over 200 questions. It took me 9 hours to answer them.
What motivated you to start your xanga?
Free Housecleaning?! I love that! :O)
I would ask you questions but being new to your blog…I’m not sure what I would ask. I will wait to see the questions you get and go from there. What a neat idea!

Free housecleaning?!?! You are a luckly lady.
A question for you—What do you think you will miss most about the US when you are in England for 6 months?
What are you most “dying to do” while in England?
What, if anything, do you miss about Xenia?
A couple questions come to mind: Is that a snake on the neck of Wit’s new guitar? Does the rental in England have Internet connection (is it linked somehow to the cable you mentioned)? How do you find the time to ‘Xanga’? (I am always so jealous!)
Love!
I like his shirt! lol Wait, David got the snake guitar!?!?! Woah! That’s cool. Wati! I think Libby told me that….. ne way, I think the same person who was selling that was the one that sold me my American Strat.
lets see, what sort of question should I ask……………..idk…..I guess I may just be back l8er when I think of 1…
I love that late cake!
Did you do the quilting on the wall in picture of Wit and guitar?
There’s no such thing as a late cake! Any plans to visit Cambridge? The Moors? Stonehenge since you’ll be so close?
Yeah, I’ll miss out on the fun of living in the midst of the destruction! I’ve always tried to be as unintrusive as possible when doing remodeling work in other peoples homes, but I know from experience it’s impossible to not mess things up. Now I remember you syaing that you’ll be in Cambridge, wow, what a kewl oportunity to explore historic sites and libraries! RYQ; No, you’re not prying, yes I am single, yes I was married, my wife passed away in 1995.
Yours is the first blog I have read since I got back. I needed some light reading for my poor jet-lagged mind. It is now 8:43 pm. I managed to stay awake until 9 last night. Wonder if I can beat that tonight–after waking up at 4 this morning.
Congratulations on the house rental. Looks lovely from the outside! Takes me back to thoughts of Scotland already.
Missed you.
How can I get four hours of free housecleaning a week?
How should I punish you for stealing my idea?
If you had to change your hair color, what would you choose?
What’s your most favorite item of clothing?
Worst book you’ve ever read?
[Heheheheeee. I like the idea of you having to answer over 200 questions. Just my little contribution.

Even with having lost loved ones I never know quite what to say to people either, I guess it depends on the person. Time doesn’t heal all wounds, it merely allows scar tissue to grow over most of them as an added layer of protection.
What is your Bible translation of preference?
Here’s a question for you… What is your favorite Jane Austen book after P&P and why?
Since my mom is here I’m experiencing a weeks worth of free housecleaning, but six months…LUCKY!!!
What is one thing you would like to do before you die?
I am so jealous! I am sitting right here and coveting my little head off!
?: Agatha Christie or Dorothy L. Sayers?
Late cake! cute!
And a quadruple layer yet! Yum! Was it chocolate? I made a choc. cake w/ choc. icing for Katrina’s b-day at the beginning of the month and have been craving more ever since, but I started my diet…….. (see my CarbAddict site).
My question: how do you stay thin when you love chocolate chip cookies & seem to make them often?
Check the facebook status of Ian Gibraltar and Josiah Jacques (as they were at one time known)
With everything you have going on…I bet it is a bit hectic!
I do have a question for you! :O)
Do you think you have a big enough suit case to put me in?! I have always wanted to go to England ever since I was 5 years old! Don’t ask me why – I just always felt the need to go back where our family was from.
Now for a serious question…
I am guessing you will only be there for a short period of time (?) but what is the one thing you want to bring back with you from this stay there?
xoxo Cat
Hmmm…how do you think the young-uns are going to like it?
Better late than never with cake.
RYC: No, I’m not a tour guide. I just like it here. I’m looking for work locally so I can stay here during the week.
Housecleaning! YAY!
What is your favorite trait in each one of your kids?
well, in earth science we all get code names so that when Mr. Donoughe puts up the grades nobody knows who they are. MY codename was Ghosty, but was misinterpreted and now my grade reads ghostLy.
A house with housecleaning? In my dreams! I am even jealouser than I already was.
(Sure, it’s a word, whaddaya mean?)
So what’s TGD a Dr. of?
I would love to have free housecleaning! It sounds like a wonderful time really. And I agree—you should take me with you, lol.
I just love the cake! What a wonderful thing, when family takes time for each other.
Take care…
Hey, TP, have you perhaps made a copy of that footage for me yet?
Merry
Fun! Blue walls. Happy Birthday to Wit. The cake is four layers, it takes longer to be better. Drat, I missed the Q & A.
