Almost Home
Howdy, Ya’ll! I just got back from a week of being a camp counselor at a Gold-Rush/true treasure in Christ camp. I had five 10-12 year old girls (plus Little Miss) in my cabin. It was much fun, although we almost melted on Friday, as it was so very hot.
In a few hours, I’ll leave for my 20th high school reunion. Wish me luck and pray that I have at least a bit of a nice time. I’m not really anticipating that it will be the most wonderful night of my recent life. But, one never knows. It would be more enjoyable if The Good Doctor could be with me, but he is in CA at a math conference. It is also my 17th wedding anniversary today. He called me last night right after midnight to wish me a happy anniversary. (I was awake!)
So, dear friends, I shall be with you soon and hopefully back to my old Xanga ways.

I could see how going alone to the reunion wouldn’t be so fun, but I certainly hope you do have a nice time.

Happy 17th Anniversary!! How fun! Just 3 more ’til your 20th!! We’ll be celebrating 13 this December.
Hope you have a wonderful time at your reunion and find many old faces that have similar interests (mainly, Jesus!) in common with you!
I’ll look forward to “chatting” with you more here on xanga….. but, I’ve slowed down a lot on here……. summer just seems to be so busy with outdoor activities, I’m not usually inside ”playing” on the computer. Ya know?!

o.k…… I’m bored…… you have to come entertain me on my site! Now that everything is calming down, it’s like it all just came to an abrupt halt!! Do I really LIKE all that busyness??? I didn’t think so, but, the lack of it is a little depressing! blah! However, my daughter made shortbread cookies last night and I think I ate about a thousand!! Do you think that would attribute to my mini “blues”?? yeah, that’ll do it!

and I would love to come on the 17th, I need to check with my mother ’cause she might be taking kids to the beach on the 18th? not sure but yea that’s why I havta check with her. but I’ve been to the beach a lot this summer so I might just come up anyway–I’ll let you know and thanks for the invitation!
