RYC: The Inheritance is supposedly Alcott’s first novel… I’ve never read Long, Fatal Love Chase, but Inheritance has very much the feel of Old Fashioned Girl with some of the immaturities you might expect from Alcott at seventeen. Not as good as most of her stuff, but a pleasant “I can’t get to sleep and I’m too tired to do anything else” read. I get to adapt it to stage.

We had to sneak out tonight right after the play was over, but I wanted to let you know that it was great. The play was well written, the costumes and sets great, and the singing and acting superb. Definitely five thumbs up. Wonderfully done and great message!
