  • Picture This!

GhostFroggy is having another contest. This time, one must post a picture of him/herself.  First, here is Rachel’s entry (posted for my amusement, as I’m sure she’d NEVER choose this shot!) This is Rachel at five months.  (I added a PaintShop bikini top for modesty.) She was 100% nursed from birth and only nursed for about seven minutes every three to four hours.

This next picture is my entry. Since I don’t care for myself in pictures, I thought I’d post one from when I didn’t care and actually looked good–at age nine. So, do Little Miss or LibbyK or one of the boys favor me?

  • Oh my. I think all of your children have a little bit of Mary in them, but that picture particularly makes me think of Libby.

  • Love your picture Mary. God bless you.

  • Libby all the way…Nathan in the eyes!

  • rjdohner is right about Nathan in the eyes…. Libby or Michael in the face…….

Thanks for the modest baby pic!  She looked alot like my babies!

  • Libby is the spitten image of you!

  • Looks like Libby to me!

  • I thought it was Libby before I read what you wrote.  I guess that says it.

  • omgsh i had to read that 4 times before i understood that that was you! Now i know where Libby gets her beauty from. ;^)

  • She must have been a very efficient feeder.  I can see how that other picture can be you.  You were very pretty, even if you didn’t care!

  • When I looked at that pic of you as a nine year old, I thought first of DAVID!  Maybe it’s the expression on the mouth.  I guess I see Libby now that I look longer.  You had great eyebrows!

  • I like to think it’s him with flowers for her to come…. and she never does. HOW ROMANTIC!!! But then, I’m just a sucker for romace because I have none. *sigh* :P

  • Libby and Nathan.

  • I agree, thats definitely how that french word should be pronounced.

  • oh my goodness! i thought you were Libs in that picture! wow….very pretty!

  • I thought it was Libby too -_^

  • I think I can see Nathan there, especially around the chin.  I’ve never heard of Shining Through, but I mentioned it to my mom and she said it was very old, perhaps 1930′s.  Is that the one?

  • Of course, ma’am.  =)  I am deeply indebted to you.  How can I ever repay you?…uh oh.

  • Oh good grief…little Rach in a photoshop bikini top. And, dude! Like…nah, I’ll just not say it…

  • I was talking with Nathan about said fight scene and he said to talk to you. I think you might need a little more…pizazz. http://judoinfo.com/techjudo.htm The top link at that site has a number of excellent videos you may find useful. He said no swords were to be involved; may I suggest quarterstaves and knives? If you want to discuss it further, I am of course, at your disposal.

  • pronunciation “whores de ovaries”

  • Thank YOU for the wonderful wishes and the card! I loved them both!

  • who is this?

  • Thanks for the head’s up.  I didn’t know I did that.

  • Feel better soon!  Moms don’t have time for the flu and frequently can hold off a full case of it…  I can remember the last time I had a fever and aches bad enough to call the doctor.  I called my naturopath and she gave me an awful bitter liquid (she mixed the tinctures in the office) that was amazing!  I had a hard time getting the first two doses down, but it really helped and quickly.  She told me as soon as I start feeling bad to take a very hot bath.  Sometimes if you artificially raise your body temperature at the beginning you can mimic a fever (your body’s defenses against viruses that are killed at higher temperatures) and avert an illness.

Does a hat trick have to be three in a row, or just three?

  • I was just skimming your post and thought that was Libby.

  • awesome!  well take your time, i dont mind..  and if you would, consider how the book would read without the prologue (it’s a recent addition and some of the stinklings members don’t like it… i feel it useful because it sets up some future events in the story where the author gets involved..  but anyway.. ive been writing a book inside these parenthesis so ill close!)

    love,

    me

  • I’m sorry…i personally have never been to your site until now. Someone must have been on my computer looking at different people’s xanga’s. Sorry?

  • Aw, those are so cute! I can see Libby and Micheal in the photo of you, very cute!
