I Smell a Tag
Yes, it happened. I was just innocently browsing my subscriptions when WHAM! There it was. A tag. (Thanks, ElizabethDNB!) Since this is an odd one which I’ve not seen before, I’ll play!
My Five Favorite Scents
1. Vanilla–I love the stuff. I sniff it in the kitchen while making desserts. It’s my perfume. It’s my bubble bath. What could be better than to smell like cookies?
2. Lemon and Orange–Dish liquids and such had better be orange or lemon. Mmmmm!
3. Chocolate–I love to smell chocolate, especially cocoa. (See #1)
4. Linen things–I think it’s really the dryer sheets (Bounce), but perhaps it’s just the clean smell of fresh sheets (er, fresh smell of clean sheets?)
5. Coppertone suntan lotion–Nothing else says “summer” like the smell of Coppertone!
I’m sure there are lots of other things I love to smell, but these will do for now. How about you? What are your favorites?
What’s the worst thing you’ve ever smelled?

vanilla, cinnamon, chocolate, hazlenut coffee!, the fresh cut wood smell Mike used to wear when he came home from work as a carpenter
The worst smell? Strong sulfur water!
I love citrus, chocolate, vanilla, cinnamon, and apples. The worst has got to be vomit.
My favorite smells…
1. My husband in cologne.
2. Vanilla bubble bath. I have a favorite one, that is mixed with brown sugar. I love that smell!
3. Chocolate!!!!
4. Dinner already made when I come home…I rarely smell that unless I have thrown something in the crockpot before I left, lol.
5. Fresh laundry.
What do I hate to smell? Well, I am a nurse so I have had many horrible smells, lol.
1. Victoria Secret Pear Glace
2. Yankee Candle Home Sweet Home
3. Christmas tree (fresh evergreen)
4. Chocolate chip cookies
5. Christopher wearing “273″, a cologne I bought him long ago.
6. A clean (well, as clean as it can get) cow barn
7. BOOKS
8. Downy fabric softener
9. Smell of snow, cut grass, Spring earth just turned over
10. Bath Fresh Toddlers
11. Herbal Essences Citrus scented shampoo
I REALLY like smells:).
Smells I don’t like–
1. Rotten potatoes in my pantry.
2. Burnt meat liquids on the bottom of my oven that keep getting rebaked.
3. Dead rats/mice/animals in the wall (Erin’s contribution).
4. Sewer city smell (Tara’s contribution).
5. Gasoline (Erin’s).
None of these are necessarily in order of least to most favorite or visa versa.
Corrine
milk spilled in the carpet that just won’t come out no matter what you try and everyday the smell just gets worse and worse!
I’M BAAAACK!! …o.k., that’s only half true…… actually, I’m sitting in a lovely hotel room in the beautiful, sunny…… FREEZING, SNOWY, ICY, HOLLAND, MI!!! LOL!! (Did you think I’d run away to Cancun??? Did ya? Did ya?) We’ve been on a business trip this week and before that, we had my in-laws (from your neck of the woods………beautiful Pennsylvania!!:D) visiting last weekend! So…… I’ve had a bit of a xanga break. We’re heading back home today, and I’m debating on whether to use the pool one last time (my first time this visit) before we check out (I got a late check out.)! …….. TO SWIM, OR NOT TO SWIM……… THAT IS THE QUESTION!!
Talk to ya more when I get home!!
It’s dangerous to ask Mother’s to describe the worst smells! I love the smell of books too! sniff…ahhhhhhhh!
Favorite smell? What about guys who wear that yummy smelling deoderant….Old Spice? Or something like that.
And worst smell is boys who don’t wear deoderant. Hehhe!
a now exctinct flavor at Bath and Body Works called “Gingerbread 3-in-1″ this stuff is amazing….
worst smell….hmmm…..its hard to say without sounding cruel
Now hunting for pretty pictures is a hobby of mine, and I waste quite a lot of time on it that should be used for doing other things.
As a result, I find lots of pictures! But the truth is, I only find one or two really good ones per search. Usually I use paintings for my profile since I love them so much. Those you can find at the Art Renewal Center http://www.artrenewal.org/. My friend Libby told me about it, and I love it.
Yea it is a catchy song, isn’t it: the Red Hot Chili Peppers have never ceased being catchy haha. And you may read my book… I’ll add you to the mailing list

I don’t know what happened to the picture (I see it). It’s not anythin special, just me in a shirt that says: “Shake Your Maracas” (and there’s a picture of Donald Duck shakin it). I find it rather impressive though
1. Rain
2. Smoked ham
3. Gunsmoke
4. New books
5. Paint (but only certain kinds)
I can’t remember the worst thing I’ve ever smelled, but dead horse flies and grubs come to mind as being pretty nasty. Canada geese, dirty hamster cages, crocodiles, sewage, dog vomit, dead toads, long dead opossums, and a bucket filled with dog feces of varying ages that had been sitting in 100+ degree weather for a few hours are also pretty high on the list. Then there was also that concoction involving dirt, acorns, water, lotion, leaves, grass, soap, and a all manner of other natural and unnatural elements confined to a two liter bottle for several days.
Let’s see, my favorite smells…garlic bread, freshly mowed grass, the air right after it has rained, baby lotion, old spice on my husband
The worst smells…dirty diapers, spoiled food, (this is really gross) liquid manure

I love your choices. I remember when you got and gave warm vanilla bubblebath. I’ve never smelled coppertone that I can remember, but that pool smell of chlorine and suntan lotion is a special one for me. And I wouldn’t have thought of it in the middle of winter.
Nice smells! I like your choices.
I like the Bath and Body Works Vanilla Hazelnut. It is so amazing. The worst thing I have ever smelled, I don’t really know. There are to many things to choose from. ;p
