Got It!
And what is it that she’s got? Is it a miserable head cold? Yes! It is! Is it a bunch of uncorrected homeschool papers in a box which even though she vowed that THIS year, everything would be corrected and put in the portfolio every weekend? Yes! She’s got that, too. How about that contract to write half of the Saxon grade 3 teacher’s manual? Yup, she got that one today. Woo! Now I won’t have the time to file those papers, at least for the next month or so.
Football went quite well with two major victories for both boys’ teams. It was such a gross mismatch for David’s team that we felt bad for the team being crushed and for our own team who had to play well below the level they could have played. (The league gets fussy if there is a 20+ point difference in the scores.) David scored the first touchdown of the game. Actually, at first the mighty Centre Bulldogs scored every second or third play. Then they had to run really slowly, pull out all the best players, put the linebackers in as quarterback, etc. Ah, well. It was still fun.
Sorry, Katia, I read another book.

How can you read Margaret Atwood for the fun of it. I had to read her in college and hated every minute of everyone of her books. Sorry to be so negative, but I really dislike Ms. Atwood. On a happier note; glad football went well.
” Boo” to head colds!! Coming at this time of year when things are just getting going and so busy!! That’s just not right!!
Sorry you don’t feel good….. feel well? ……I never know which is correct. My grandmother used to improperly use the word “well” frequently and she was normally very proper and sounded so “classy”, so now what sounds right to me is usually wrong!! lol! Oh, well!
Feel better and take care of yourself. A cup of hot tea sounds good to me, right now!

i think maybe you are allergic to grading homeschool papers? and that is why you have had a cold for so long?

Poor girl! I’ll be praying for your head! Congrats on the contract. You rock! BTW it was not a lack of interest in your magic/miracle topic I am just too brain dead to think of an example on my own. I enjoyed yours though.
