Mathematical Progression
Since you are all wondering, I’ll tell you what my “Week of Anniversary Celebration” gifts have been so far.
Monday–ONE bouquet of flowers
Tuesday–TWO $25 gift certificates to Outback Steakhouse
Wednesday–FOUR boxes of candy (Dots, Sour Patch, Mike and Ikes, and Good and Plenty)So, I’m thinking that he is doing multiples of sixteen (1, 2, 4, 8, and 16). If my theory holds true, I should get eight of something tomorrow. A spider? Any guesses? Or, am I missing some other obvious mathematical thing?
Also, if someone could tell me how to successfully paste those html quiz results into an entry, I’d be grateful. It just randomly happened by chance last time. Usually, I paste the code and it posts as the code not as the tidy bar graph thing. Ransom?

For me, usually, I check the box that says “edit HTML.” It kinda happened by accident, I don’t know if that actually is the right way…

Oooo… what an exciting game! Maybe 8 watermelons? An 8 day vacation to the beach? Who knows…..
Interestingly enough, it will not be 8 (although that might be the most obvious choice given 1,2,4,8,16). Thank you, Sloane’s OEIS. We’ll have to wait and see what it is later today.

When you get it all done, try putting it to music, The Twelve Days of Christmas, for instance. Eight bottles of Snapple diet peach tea?
I think that the next one is 6, following the least integer of each prime signature…
