  • It’s All Over But the Mopping

The AP picnic has come and gone, and what a wonderful time it was!  I hope Y’all (and everyone else) had as great a time as I did. On the way home after our church picnic today, Nathan said, “It’s not even been six hours, and I already miss…”  (Well, I can let him write his own blog about all that, not that it’s a big deal.  I will do something better with pictures later, but for now, here are a few to whet your appetite and refresh your memories.

    Off for a nap now!

  • That picture with Daniel is absolutely great! I’m going to have to steal a few of those pics . . .  Thanks again for hosting it. I had a terrific time.

  • Awww!!! I miss you guys too!! Great pics!

  • Looks like everyone had a great time!

  • Happy napping!  Looks like everyone had a great time.

  • Whoa, I love the one of Jimmy goin’ airborne! Plus, the one where we have all of us on the back porch and all you can see of Steve is his legs on the left. Later!!!

  • peck-talk:

omg that pic of me is offff the chain lollol hahahahahah.

    Translation:

I particularly enjoy viewing the picture of me with my fiance–humorous and fresh.

Thanks so much for having me, I had a wonderful time and yall are the best second family I could ask for!! ;)

  • I really should force myself to take a closer look at headlines before I start my brain in gear. I was just over at worldmag.com and read that “Brain Dead Woman Gives Birth.” Well big deal! I gave birth five times and each time I swear I was more brain dead than the last.
Then I come visit my favorite teacher person and see that it’s “all over but the moping.” Huh? Why are they all moping up there? Didn’t they have fun at the picnic?
Sigh… I’m going to have another cup of coffee now.

  • Those kids look so happy and wholesome, how can people say that homeschooled kids are too sheltered so they turn out wierd! And that kid in green can get some serious air too!  Thanks for your comment and prayers.

  • looks like your picnic was alot of fun!  :)

  • Ha, ha, Yes, we’re big fans of Hank.  I was just thinking I’ve developed a Hank-esque narrative style.  No kidding.  Sentence fragments, asides, and everything.

  • *snif*

    Sorry I never showed…

I finally accepted my humanity and realized that I could only be in so many places that day :(

But we can still do lunch! Drop me a line sometime after the 17th!

  • I just realized that in a lot of the pictures you have my legs are the most prevalent part of my body!

I’m still working on getting you mine. My computer was shut off (noo!) yesterday and the work lost so hopefully by tonight I’ll have them for you.
