Question
And there’s another, real post below this one!
Do you think pictures of flowers look better in black and white or in color? Here are two pictures I took yesterday. I’m inspired to post them because I so much enjoyed looking at photos on the Photo Challenge Blogring.

hey girly,
WOW, you did awesome on those pictures!!!! what kind of camera do you use? i don’t have a preference to flower pictures…both types have a completely different feel to them & i like them both the same!
as for your question about the photo challenge…i only signed up with them yesterday & i guess i missed that little rule?!?!? i found them through another woman’s site & she had her photo challenge on her site..so that’s what i was going to do. i guess i should go RE-read the rules : )-.
sorry i wasn’t very helpful!

Awesome job, you are an uber talented women…I’m jealous! Definitley the B&W, because you can see the texture of the flowers better. I love that picture so much…can you send me a email file of it, so I can frame it. That is if you’re not saving it to sell at the annual State College Art’s Fest!
I vote for color. Flowers are all about color, although one white tulip like the one in the color picture, done in black and white, could emphasize the sculptural aspect to the flower’s advantage.
I think both pictures are beautiful!
they are both really good pictures! i like the color one the best because they are flowers, (usually i like black and white photos for portraits of people…) good job! (i can’t take pics at all! so im impressed!)
I love black and white photos, but in this case I vote for the color. You can see the detail in the flowers better.
in the black and white picture you don’t get to see all the vibrant colors in the Tulips, but both are good pictures.
I black and white tends to let the imagination work slightly. Wondering, purple or red, yellow or orange, white? As far as which is better, like the Christmas ornament your brother received one time, ‘beauty is in the eyes of the beer holder’. hehe. I would probably choose the black and white for a framed piece in my house. I fact I think a black and white of purple irises would look great in my dining room (hint-hint). However, it doesn’t look as though we are going to be in this house for much longer. We will find out this week if the purchasing party is able to get financing from the bank. But of course this is HUSH-HUSH!!! But still wish me well in the house hunting department, augh.
hi there, well, i went back to the photo challenge main site to read the rules again & it said to post the pictures on your site, but to go to that site & post that your “pictures are posted”..so that people will know to go see them. so i posted mine already on my site
.
hope you’re having a great day!

color definitely!
