It’s Thursday, which means that another Wednesday is gone. Wednesdays
are supposed to be our “light days” of school, which is good, because
we are never home. This week, after our hour and a half of piano
lessons, we fled the house to the orthodontist so Libby could get a
spring-loaded retainer and Nathan his braces wire fixed. Quick stop at
the library–books due and fines to pay! After that, we ran to church
where I threw a bag of sandwiches and carrots in the general direction
of the children while I whipped off copies of speech evaluation forms
and dashed into speech class. After speech class, I did double-duty
with teaching at the co-op, keeping the drummers in line during music
and painting cardboard scenes for the upcoming Peter Rabbit play
(Michael stars as Peter.) Next, we went to pick up pictures at
Sears and Wal-Mart. While in the Wal-Mart parking lot, there was an
explosion (from the construction they are doing there) which sent rocks
flying everywhere, including into the side of our
“still-think-of-it-as-new” minivan. I then had to hassle with
getting business cards and the like. Then, rush, rush, rush into town
to meet James for dinner as he had an evening exam. After dinner,
we stopped at Blockbuster (love that no late fee policy), and then
finally, we went to pick up Libby from a friend’s house. At this point,
it was 6:50, and we drove right by church, which meant we could have
gone to Wednesday service, but we didn’t. Emails, emails, emails
from class and others requiring my immediate attention greeted me.
Eventually go the kids into bed and myself into a hot bathtub.I’m glad it is Thursday.

My… sounds like a very busy Wednesday indeed…. no wonder you’re glad its Thursday! So… did the pics you picked up turn out nicely? We’d love to see some pictures of the kids!
I feel tired just reading that… WOW!
The pics were stinky. I had Sears reorder them. The Wal-Mart ones weren’t too bad, although David looks a little demon-possesed. I will bring some in two weeks. Wooh!
That is the coolest profile picture I’ve ever seen. You’re even cooler than I remember.
Why, thank you very much LJ. I still don’t know what an e-prop is.
Hi! I can’t wait to see some family photos here. I think an eprop is one of the most annoying things about xanga. Jud and I said some other annoying things a while back. just to warn you. welcome. oh and an eprop = electronic prop. a prop is like a shout out, a nod of approval.
